Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Preparing job descriptions, posting job ads, screening applications, and conducting interviews specifically for fitness trainers, wellness coaches, and other fitness-related roles.
- Organizing and managing orientation programs for new employees, including training on fitness equipment, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and ensuring a positive workplace culture that promotes health and wellness.
- Developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and industry-specific regulations.
- Monitoring employee performance, conducting evaluations, and implementing improvement plans tailored to fitness professionals.
- Overseeing payroll processing and managing employee benefits programs, including health and wellness benefits.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are advantageous.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of HR software, and understanding of labor laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to drive actions and outcomes.
